2014 Art Fallout Venues announced

In its fifth year affecting the streets of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Art Fallout brings together an eclectic mix of contemporary art venues, artist studios, pop-up galleries and exhibits.  As the catalytic spark of the Fort Laduerdale's recent cultural growth, these fallout sites continually present thought provoking, innovative exhibits and programs, feeding the area's hunger for a unique cultural experience.

Girls' Club | a non-profit foundation and alternative art space with a private collection of over 700 works of contemporary art, presenting multi-media exhibits, publishing catalogs and artist editions and producing public programming

Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale | an iconic art museum established in 1958, presenting a rotating program of exhibits, public programs and art classes

Bedlam Lorenz Assembly at 1310 Gallery | sponsored by Young At Art Museum, BLA is a contemporary collective of local artists and creators that work to facilitate the creation and presentation of art into culture, with a focus on community accessibility

FATVillage | a micro-district of artist studios, alternative exhibition spaces and creative businesses that have fueled Fort Laduerdale's art scene with events, exhibits and murals

Glavovic Studio | an architect and design firm led by Margi Glavovic Nothard, building ambitious, culturally enriched projects that have helped evolve the face of Broward County's architectural identity

Cadence Pop Up Gallery | a urban planning and design firm that presents unique cultural projects collaborating with local artists

MAC Fine Art  | a contemporary art gallery with a notable track record of innovative visual art exhibits that has recently moved to our area from Wynwood, Miami

Made in Broward @ The Cottage | a local alternative education center focusing on hands-on learning with artist-fueled exhibits of a very eclectic nature



For decades, artists have called this area of Fort Lauderdale their practice space. Filling the area's historic homes and commercial spaces with creative energy and the obsessive fervor that only artists can generate. Recently, a new wave of artists studios have popped up, increasing the blast-radius of this artist-effect, and adding to the unique character of the area.
